When we were engaged to rebrand the Rotorua Airport, Aaron immediately engaged the services of Fineline Design Agency to assist with the creative input for such an important project.
The scope of this job was interesting, as initial concepts were completed off plans and needed to be finalised once building works were finished. Firstly, we submitted a comprehensive signage concept package using colour schemes and fonts from the Destination Rotorua stable.
Once the design process was complete, we worked to a critical path for the manufacture and installation of all the signage. A large component of the signage look and feel was the window treatment on the glass walls which were designed by Kereama Taepa.
We also supplied the large SEG lightboxes throughout the airport, giving Rotorua Airport the opportunity for additional income streams using this latest SEG technology.
This project shows the value of a strong design specification and teamwork, taking away the Supreme Award at Speedy Signs' 2021 National Sign Awards earlier this year.
