Speedy Signs Penrose is owned and operated by Craig Simmons. Craig has a great team working for him delivering the highest possible standard on every project time and time again.
Craig has owned Speedy Signs Penrose since 2014 after a career as technical product manager for HP wide format printing solutions and associated finishing equipment. After more than 20 years in the printing industry, helping printing and sign-writing businesses get the best from their equipment, Craig decided it was time to walk the talk and purchased the original Speedy Signs branch. His equipment knowledge is evident in the business today, having made significant investments in equipment that allows the business to operate as efficiently as possible and deliver the best products for our clients.
From a career as a cabinet-maker and shop-fitter, Mike joined Speedy Signs in 2019. Mike is an expert at delivering signage solutions to clients of all shapes and sizes and has the technical expertise to provide the very best advice and guidance.
Lyall manages the production team to ensure everything is completed on time and to the highest standard. He owned and operated his own sign company in South Africa before moving to NZ with his family in 2024.
Adrian is one of our expert installers and can do it all, from vehicle wrapping to signage installations. He's also our specialist acrylic guy and can do things with a laser cutter that are sure to impress.
Christian is one of our signwriters with expertise in all forms of signage, having owed and operated his own sign company in Chile before migrating to New Zealand.
Nicky is our master Printer-Tamer and runs all the equipment in the shop. He keeps the equipment humming so we can produce the highest quality product in lightening quick time.
Alex is fresh out of school and is learning the craft of signwriting. He is looking to embark on a signwriting apprenticeship to further cement the skills he is learning.
