The Westpac sponsored New Zealand Franchise Awards, held in Auckland on Saturday night and attended by members of FANZ and their guests, is the annual showcase for outstanding performers in franchising and suppliers to the franchising sector.
We are very proud to announce Kevin & Sheryl Jones, owners of Speedy Signs New Plymouth were named as New Zealand’s top franchisees, receiving the most prestigious award of the night, the Supreme Franchisee of the Year Award. This award recognises excellence in business processes, vision, values and culture.
The family owned sign manufacturer was established in 2008. According to the judges from the NZ Business Excellence Foundation, Speedy Signs have clearly laid-out systems in place to capture and provide accurate data to management and staff, and a very well set-up training and development programme which is designed to exceed minimum industry requirements. Speedy Signs New Plymouth achieved significant growth, and displayed the hallmarks of a high performing franchisee earning them this year's title of Westpac Supreme Franchisee of the Year. They also won Business Services Franchisee of the Year.
